I just wanted to start by thanking my professor Dr. Dahliani Reynolds, the RWU Writing Studies Department, and the RWU Quest For Refuge initiative for the opportunity to partake in this course and this community storytelling project. Thank you to Sana Mustafa and Chanda Womack for all of their help along the way.

As I shared this final video publicly for the first time, I expressed my gratitude for the opportunity to learn more about the refugee crisis than the news could ever teach me. Meeting my community partner was incredibly eye-opening and beneficial to my world view. I am glad to have had the platform to empower Chanda's Story with a platform of her own.
